I always liked the idea that aliens were smart enough to travel from one solar system to another but too stupid to understand basic camouflage.
Also, what are the lights on UFOs for? Too dark in space?

I always figured that the reason UFO whistleblowers never showed us pictures is because real alien spacecraft look like incredibly low budget movie sets. The alien alloy looks like unpainted plywood, and the advanced beyond our understanding connective material looks like duct tape. The whistleblowers know the pictures would hurt their credibility, so are, ironically attempting to create very advanced fake pictures but they aren’t ready to be revealed yet.
