If she had it till 82, does it matter?
Yes. Yes it does.
Could you elaborate on how? Do student loans sue for nonpayment? Are they paid back by the estate?
How and why does an 82 year old have 175 grand in student loans?
Compounding interest… oh… but when did she go to school? Prices only got crazy somewhat recently.
I can’t believe some people have STUDENT debts till that late in their life that’s just serfdom, barely even disguised
I got a 30k in debt for my master degree which i reimbursed in 3 years after graduation. Surely I lived with 200€ disposable income per month for some time, but glad it hasn’t last till I am 82
The professional class in America would have a significant amount of power and the ability to tell their insane, power hunger bosses to go fuck themselves…
Except…
Because of eternal, life long debt and health care they can’t.
Don’t think this came about by accident. Debt is a tool to control a whole society.

Glad she doesn’t have to worry about both her student debt and her starfleet career at the same time

Do symbionts inherit the student loan debt of their hosts?
