  That requires 60 votes whereas a FCC nominee only requires 51 votes and one of them could be the VP’s tiebreaker vote.

Please remember that Obama nominated Ajit Pai to be an FCC commissioner in 2011 at the recommendation of Mitch McConnell, so let’s make sure not to do anything that stupid ever again.
