How did the matter that constitutes the universe come into being? What was the single point that signifies the beginning of time? What set time in motion? Will time continue after the death of the universe?
None of it is worth trying to wrap a tiny little monkey brains around as far as I’m concerned. Go have a pint and listen to music that makes you happy.

Unfortunately all candidates in this election are pro-genocide. If you pick the right one, maybe there will be a candidate next election who isn’t pro-genocide and your vote will actually count.

You spelled cuck wrong. Don’t be a cuck. Don’t stand by and watch while Trump fucks your nation and democracy as a whole.

There are probably several Russian Oligarchs missing from this list because their wealth is mostly dark money. Rumor has it Putin is the wealthiest man in the world and has been for some time.

Looks like Sam Walton would be atop the list had he figured out immortality.
Probably would top this list as the most decent person of the bunch too. He wasn’t a saint, but I haven’t seen evidence that he was rotten to the core, either.

- Comment on Intel’s Troubles Complicate U.S. Chip Independence 2 months ago:
Intel had such a huge competitive lead during AMDs Bulldozer debacle. I assumed they were still making internal advancements and just sitting on them since there wasn’t any need to push the envelope while they had basically no competition.
Now I’m wondering if they did the typical US corporation thing of laying off their actual talent and using their obscene profits from this period for bonuses for their corporate officers.

And this is why I don’t understand why Nvidia is valued so highly on the stock market.
Don’t hold your breath waiting for anything about the stock market to make sense.
- Comment on Intel’s Troubles Complicate U.S. Chip Independence 2 months ago:
There’s a reason why AMD with such a lower staff count has managed to leapfrog Intel.
Jim Keller was a pretty big reason.

- Comment on The new middle-class retirement plan: Working into old age 2 months ago:
I quit my corporate middle management job a few years ago and went to work for my local municipality. I make less money but should be able to retire at 62 with about 50% of my highest three year base pay coming to me as pension. I will still qualify for full SSI benefits (provided that’s still a thing). My wife will continue to get half of my pension if I die first, and vice-versa since she’s also a city worker. I feel like we’re a lot better off now than we were before.
