Been a while since I shared my #FridayReads
This week I finished 'The Martian' by Andy Weir.
This was a reread after 10 years for me. I earlier said that I felt the movie ultimately was better than the book. I still believe this, but it doesn't mean the book isn't good. It kept me up to 2:30 am the past 2 nights in a row (I'm so tired right now), which I consider one of the highest compliments I can give a book.
Since I finished that, I get to start a reread of 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' by Douglas Adams for another book discussion.
This is probably one of my most reread novels, I've forgotten how many times I've read it now (must be at least 10-11). Not only is it hilarious comedy and satire, but it is also damn good SF book on its own merits.

And the SF-palooza continues for #FridayReads because on audio I'm listening to 'Pandora's Star' by Peter F. Hamilton.
I wanted a long SF book to balance against all the fantasy I've been listening to on audio. This is another reread for me. I had forgotten how long it takes to actually introduce the main antagonist in this series. But I've always been a fan of Hamilton and the galaxies he creates, so it's fine just reading about all the little stuff.
