I’m pretty sure this is yet another example of the wealthy vs everybody else situation, so some of the Democrats succumb to
bribery, campaign donations from corporate “constituents”. I like to think there are more Democrats with a sense of civic duty than there are Republicans. the article is about how much money utilities buy back extra power from solar for. So, slightly different. Though the rule of thumb still applies as home batteries’ subsidy was eliminated by our demented rapist puppet of big oil.
