Its gonna be a long fucking day, sorry if I don’t drop in every 20 minutes to update or answer questions, we’re still scatterbrained right now.

Goddamn, yes it did didn’t it. Is that your car next to it or a neighbor’s?
The car next to it is the neighbor’s car.
The other neighbor’s car on the other side (not pictured) is also a bit damaged. But at least both their vehicles are still drivable.
Roommate is in a conundrum and stuck on the phone with insurance, friends, family, maintenance people, etc.
Gotta figure out how to get this lump of scrap metal hauled out either today or really soon. My mom loaned me her beater car for the time being…
Damn. Best of luck to yall, that’s a headache. Hope insurance pulls through.

Have you tried turning it off and back on again?

3 times, still no dice. Maybe we should try some starter fluid…
All jokes aside, every pressurized canister of stuff in the trunk survived, including the can of starter fluid. All evidence so far shows it clearly straight up exploded, under the hood, in front of the firewall, and the fire traveled backwards from there.
Thank goodness nobody was hurt.

Thats so bizarre. So someone would’ve had to be able to pop the hood to set their explosive or whatever. I was thinking maybe they used thermite but I reckon not.
Could it have been the battery?
