Technical TLDR;
The seeds of the Moringa tree are processed to produce a "salt based extract" which acts as a coagulant that's better than traditional alum-based products in floccing microparticles for easier filtration.

sounds like he is saying the sead is used as a component of a filter rather than the tree doing the filter as part of its life cycle. I thought @twelvety@fedia.io did the tldr to relate that particular part honestly.
