  USA was terorist country way before Trump. The only difference between Donald Trump and JFK, Obama, Bush, Regan, … is that he is not hiding and not pretend to be what he is not.

    I try my best to raise awareness of these things, because it is very obvious to me that the US is hurtling FAST towards extremist fascism, and I don’t believe either of the major parties is doing enough to stop it.

    So many people on Lemmy want to stick their heads in the sand and play the same old team sports as usual, but you need to wake up and realize the team you are on is the working class, and the democrats and the republicans are both on the enemy side - the ruling class - and unless we accept that we have been manipulated into voting for people who do not represent our interests, we will all lose.
