I remember leveling a little bit and then crouch walking by quarry junction with a stealth boy and had a deathclaw stalking me. Barely escaped and made it through but I didn’t know there was any other way at the time lmao
I hear Quarry Junction is lovely this time of year!

This would be me and my unarmed build in ng+, if we have one.

There is a safe route through there though, multiple in fact.

Not a straight line, though

Not with that attitude Kif!
Assemble the men, we’re turning off clipping.
You’re right though, it’s a lot of cliff wall hugging or diverting to hidden valley.

Only tried it once when I was new to new Vegas. Got wrecked obviously. I might try it right quick now.

It’s been over a decade but I remember fondly taking that route and getting murdered by a Cazador almost immediately.
I may be on my deathbed not able to remember the names and faces of my loved ones while screaming at the recurring nightmare of seeing one of those homing in on me from a distance.

If you get past the cazadors, then there are deathclaws on that route.

The deathclaws are in the quarry, which you can easily run by if you simply stay on the left side of the road. The narrow canyon just beyond the quarry and before you’ll end up outside NV proper is full of cazadores that are much harder to sneak/run past.
