That would just result in buying more ammunition every round, right? You won’t run out mid round, right? I have not played CS in about 100 billion years.
Valve say Counter-Strike 2's reloading needed "higher stakes", so you now dump all the ammo left in a clip when you reload early

You don’t buy ammo in CS2. When you buy the gun it comes with a set amount of ammo and that’s what you get. It’s not like the older CSs.

You don’t buy ammo anymore. You buy a weapon and it has a predefined number of ammunition.

Battlefield used to do this little bit of reality.

Seems like a weird big change to make in what is supposed to be an e-sport, but then again this is a game that deleted the game you fucking bought and replaced it with a sequel.

It’s been a great update in my opinion, I really love it so far, it creates more skill in the game if that makes sense. No more cod reloads, more crazy last bullet clutches, it’s been fun.

Compared to almost every other FPS it already had relatively high stakes.

On one hand, I think this does raise the stakes — on the other I recognize that everyone that’s ever climbed the ladder knows that reloading unecessarily will get you killed. This, to me, seems more like a change intended for casual players who never got the lesson.
