It was an Australian summer, correct.

They’re all either wet and hot, or dry and hot. It’s summer. In Australia.

    Hot and wet?

MC Hammer likes 'em soft and wet

PS: I’m not actually sure if this song or maybe decade should be cancelled?

In California experience has shown that a wet year brings flowers and grasses which dry out in 6 months and make a stronger fire season. Get the fire lines cut and evacuation routes cleared.

Yeah that’s just the norm in Australia for nearly every year as almost the whole country experiences just two seasons - “wet” or “dry”.

P.S. sorry about giving you the idea to plant all those eucalypts over there during the gold rush, that was a bit of a mistake.

Nice to know the data supports my perception and I am not going insane. Now, what does it mean and how do we fix it?
