Companies like Microsoft charge what they do so they can expand their empire, not to keep the lights on.
The Xbox had the best controller on the market for a long time, especially back in the X360 era. I’m still very happy with the Elite Series 2 controller, although I rather use my Razer Wolverine V3 Pro these days
I’ll echo support for the controller. People made fun of the original huge one, but the “S” variant and its successors felt quite good in my hands. I also have an Elite Series 2 that I use with my PC and it’s been great.
Every company does that in this world, but part of the arrangement was for the product/service to increase in quality/quantity. They grow bigger by being better, and can use that bigger to get more better.
