Day 8 of gerbil-sitting and the aging, ailing gerbil is perky, alert and putting weight back on. Still got 7 days, so I’m not counting my rodents yet but I am less nervous.
I’ve become quite invested in our old Gerbil updates. I’m rooting for a win!
Coincidentally, after I posted that, there was a lot of squeaking and foot drumming from the cage, all coming from the previously ailing gerbil. I Googled it and it said this was a sign of excitement or if they were scared or wanted to mate. I looked in and he was humping the life out of his (surprised) gerbil friend (same sex). So he’s not just recovered but he’s become a sexual predator. The wonders of sunflower seeds.
you and me both!
I found a double conker on my walk today.
Double conkers are a myth!
I know what I found. The myths are true!
I built my new PC and it worked (roughly) first time!
Nice one! What was the roughness?
One power cable was a bit short so I had to order a replacement, and mobo needed a bios update.

Today I walked to the shop for the first time in two weeks after an attack of vestibular hypofunction. I’ve been more or less housebound.

Well done. A friend of mine had an inner ear infection and it took her quite a while just to be coaxed up off the floor, which seemed like the safest place at the time.
