  Just watched the 1st ep. Is this anime just going to be this? Like, is there anything driving the plot towards a less fucked up world or something? Or is it going to stay as despair porn?

    If there’s an overarching plot other than Yuki abusing her plot armor to reach 99 death games, it hasn’t shown up yet.

  I already knew that Souta Ueno is someone to keep an eye on after seeing Gimai Seikatsu, and that was the main reason I gave this show a shot. With Shiboyugi he proves that he isn’t a one time wonder. I’ll definitely watch whatever he makes next

  Enjoying the show so far, but I’m curious how the plot will progress. Feels like we’re still establishing characters.

  Just catching up, and this show’s title caught my eye.

  As expected, this is survival horror suspense, with “how will she get out of this” moments of suspense.

  An interesting theme is the “preservative” effect that turns the participants blood into something that looks like plushie stuffing.

  So for example, a severed limb looks like it was ripped off a plush doll.

  The inspiration is very much from the SaW movies…
