Many mangaka are not in good health. They are not living a good life style. Working so hard is counter productive. You think you get done more but then you get sick and have to pause for a long time. If you work at an sustainable pace you get done more and better quality in the end. But that is something the whole of Japan doesn’t seem to understand when it comes to work culture.
