Yeah, the only people I let hold my devices out of my sight are the ones I’m banging. And even then I still need to unlock the device for them to use it.
I’m not letting Sarah at Starbucks explore my phone files and apps, lol.
Aren’t there any petitions or pressure campaigns against google’s overreach?
This is just an app lock improvement. Google does plenty of overreach, but this is not it.

As I am now on GrapheneOS, tell me if I have it understood: this is talking about apps getting notifications when the phone is unlocked, right?
In GOS even this option is already there, but to have the notifications hidden on the lock screen I believe has been there since forever, or is it a false memory of mine?
