Oh, I know poverty in Bulgaria well. Not my own but someone very dear to me is from Sofia. She is one of three sisters. One married a mafia accountant, one turned to sports to get out, and the last became a sex worker and porn actor in Italy. None are poor now.
As I said. No shame in survival.
