cptbutton@dice.camp 5 days ago I am about 75% through this, but not that entranced. The SF part seems secondary, it is more a spy novel as the world slides even farther towards totalitarianism. There is some supernatural stuff, but I'm not that interested. More adding additional mysteries than resolving existing ones.
@kenthompson @bookstodon I've never been more bitterly disappointed in a book than this one, having invested so much care in Lyra's world over the previous five.
