The Internal Revenue Service said it will furlough nearly half of its employees – about 34,000 workers – due to the government shutdown, making it significantly harder for US taxpayers to receive assistance.
I’m honestly considering not paying taxes anymore. Well at least income taxes.
I feel like you could make the case that for every day the government is shut down, you could deduct 1/364 of your taxable income. I’m no bird lawyer, though.
