    Not really. Talent essentially means how quick you can get good at something. In the beginning you’re bad at everything. But you can recognise pretty quickly whether you have talent and can improve quickly or not.

    You could do what we Americans call, giving up prematurely and calling ourselves bad at whatever.

    Easier then doing lots of work to fail.
