Is GammaOS, an alternative OS for some popular retro gaming Android devices, deGoogled?

Besides the price sometimes, Google services being preinstalled on these Android devices is the main reason keeping me from wanting to get one. I’d love to be able to emulate GameCube though and I’m hoping GammaOS is the solution.

The Lite installer excludes Google Services.

this is my first time hearing about this os. is it better than simply running dolphin on android?

  It’s supposed to make a whole bunch of system wide optimizations for performance, fixes particular issues with specific devices, and have things preinstalled for the retro gaming experience to my understanding
