If only they kept to their original promise of supporting uBlock Origin indefintely (they later switch their position to only support all v2 extensions only until June 2025 with using
ExtensionManifestV2Availabilityflag) . It’s mandatory in today’s internet and without it Vivaldi browser is a non-starter no matter how many good other features or stances they take.ItsComplicated@sh.itjust.works 14 hours ago
Ublock lite is very lite compared to the original. Even using every filter option it still misses quite a bit. I’ll stick with Firefox.

On Vivaldi, I only use the built in filtering. Is that not good enough? I’m able to block everything I was using ublock origin for. I also block ads at the DNS level.

It can block some ads, but it’s very limited in what it can do. It also lacks all other privacy-preserving features that uBlock Origin offers.
