Is there a good selfhosted service that can download and rehost tiktok links from a web ui?

Ive used offtiktok which is self hostable

    There is also proxitok

Or you could probably work out something with yt-dlp or one of the front ends for it.

      WARNING

The docker-down.sh script associated with offtiktok runs a docker prune -f and will delete any unused docker containers you have without warning.

Can confirm that yt-dlp works perfectly for TikTok videos

If you just want an internal webUI with video playback, I absolutely love MeTube.

    github.com/alexta69/metube

It uses yt-dlp as a backend and has a lot of configuration and supports a lot of sites.

Exposing this to the outside isn’t a good idea because of the risk of DMCA or someone abusing your hard drive space

I thought downloading and redistributing tiktok videos was against TikToks TOS?

    Maybe Linkwarden can do it.

Which you only agreed to if you have an account (and even then they realistically can only ban your account). If you rehost publically you might get issues with copyright laws though.

I would be the most concerned about the music. The MPAA exists solely to sue consumers and seems to have no other real purpose. Probably best to scrub the soundtracks.
