It’s certainly impressive how to outsiders it sounds like there are constantly evolving dynamic gameplay mechanics in this game but in reality it has been the exact same self-contained missions with nearly identical structure throughout the entire campaign.
Not really complaining or praising. Just my observation as someone who has dumped hundreds of hours into the game.

Yeah I burnt out on it. The weapon level thing is really cool but I dropped in for a level 3 illuminate mission, got shit on, and quit.

Plas-39 accelarator rifle, gp-31 ultamatum as secondary and stalwart as support.
Accelarator to take out the annoying heavy armoured guys, ultamatum to blow up ships in 1 hit and stalwart to take out the hordes.
Only issue I have is the strafing runs and my friend sitting still to shoot at hordes instead of completing the objectives. They keep coming if you sit still. All 3 enemies keep coming if you sit still. Move!
