Towels should have labels (colour coded even) on each side and quadrants to show which part wipes your face, which part wipes your body, which part wipes your legs and which part wipes your ass. We are all mixing it out there.

There’s an ADHD influencer that teaches people how to bathe properly. She teaches a lot of different things, but I distinctly remember being surprised by that one.
Literally nothing is stopping you from buying color towels and using your own system…
Alternative: use a hand towel. Used wisely it can dry and scrub you nicely, then directly into the dirty clothes basket.
Towels magically clean themselves between uses.
