    This “We’re not” sounds a lot like “We kind of are.”

    You’re using it for moderation.

    You’re using it for editing.

    You’re using it for translation.

    You’re using it as the first thing new people experience.

    Where are you not using it? What’s left?

        Personally I would have preferred them to say it more explicitly, but I’m assuming their idea is people provide the knowledge for wikipedia, and AI should help smooth out the other necessary parts (moderation/editing/translation/etc) so that contributors can focus more on the knowledge part.

    Exactly how this version of “AI” should be used. Not treated as an independent intelligence, which it’s not, but treated as a tool for those with independent intelligence.
