Imagine how CORRUPT this would be if President Elon Musk, the Illegal Immigrant CUTTING THESE JOBS, was ALSO the CEO of SpaceX! That would be SUPER CORRUPT! FORTUNATELY Fox News told me that’s NOT True and that’s ALL the proof I need! I also need a Job though because BIDEN Fired me from my Federal Job Yesterday!

FCC power limits are generally to prevent spectrum corruption, like they don’t want your radio to overpower everyone else. So yes, more power is generally better for the signal but it’s a shared pool of limited spectrum so your use can hurt other people.

So is it like having multiple stores, but one store pays to have the highway lead to their store quicker?

Right now it’s in place to protect Geosynchronous Orbit satellites and allow communication it means there are shadow zones around the ground stations where the LEO satellites have to be quiet.

If they can get smarter about it then it’s ok, but it was set a a rule by space engineers, many of whom are actual rocket scientists, and would need careful consideration before changing. Something fElon hasn’t proven capable of.

Also jumping from 100MB/s to 1GB/s just be turning them up( or turning more on at once sounds like typical Musk bullshit.
