I’m using the image to keychain tool from bambu which is awesome, however I’ve added some text to the model via Bambu studio but when I slice the model it doesn’t show the text at all and won’t print it. Do I have to assemble/combine the text with the keychain model?
I’m not sure how bambu studio does it (use prusa/superslicer) but chiming in because I was trying to figure this out last year doing a large ish batch of keychains for a friend and was fighting a bit with it, probably is a way of doing it all in freecad but the image was my biggest issue.
I ended up doing things in blender to subtract the image and the slicer itself, did a text object, positioned it where I wanted, merged the objects and marked the text as a negative volume so it was subtracted when I sliced it, might help in your case?

When you slice the keychain, have you painted in the letters with the chosen colors? Does it show the purge tower after slicing? And when you click to send it to the printer, does the popup screen show 2 spool images and colors? If it does, then the text is there and just embedded below the surface. and you need to raise it up to be flush with the surface.
Bambu Studio is ass for embedding text and some others things as well. Orca Slicer and Prusa Slicer a lot better with adding text.
