  Different world yet the language is the same? Looks like lazy writing.

  Can’t judge the story after one episode but it didn’t hooked me at all.
  As for animation is not good not bad.

  Good enough to get the three-episode test, but I don’t know that this is something toward which I’d naturally be attracted as a series. The animation definitely left things to be desired.

  Pretty much your standard “reincarnated, and getting a fast start to developing my magical powers” story.

  This is being played straight.

  The only twist is having his prior incarnation being a violent sociopathic conqueror from a somewhat modern technological world, but we’ll have to wait and see how that affects things.

    Actually, there is one other slight difference from your average reincarnation story: they actually tried to depict how it would really, really suck to be an infant with an adult mind . . . but confined to a crib and with no bowel or bladder control. That’s something these stories usually try to gloss over.
