According to this site there are 4.6 million active Woocommerce sites. So what if there were a site built that could have something roughly along the lines of an eBay-like interface, but where users can browse, search, and buy products that are listed among all of these Wordpress shops?
Collectively you would think all of these sites taken together should represent virtually everything that anyone could want or need to buy. It would make for great discoverability for independent creators and businesses.
Maybe something like this already exists? Or maybe there’s some reason it wouldn’t be feasible or a good idea?

I like it on paper, but like Etsy, how would you prevent people masquerading as “small businesses” but are really just drop shippers of cheap garbage?
That’s a genuine question, not rhetorical. I don’t know the answer myself.
