Why drink when you can use kava kava instead? It’s alcohol, but with less nausea, significantly less toxicity, less potential for interaction with other substances, and no hangover. Why wouldn’t you?
I've made it to my arbitrary "chill out on drinking" date. Full power to the weed vaporizer!

Probably because if they consumed it the same regularity/frequency it would be just as toxic. Kavalactones will build up in your liver with daily use.

I wouldn’t say just as toxic. I’ve found it can lead to dermopathy, a skin condition, and indeed liver damage (which isn’t unusual), but not any seriously life-threatening condition. Kava is, by all means, safer than alcohol.

If you’re drinking brandy out of a bottle why not just buy E&J Gallo? It’s around 20% of the price and any nuance is lost when drinking out of the bottle so higher price ≠ higher quality when drinking from the bottle.
Hennessy also sucks until you spend car +rent payment levels of money. There are always better smaller Cognac producers
