Sure doesn’t seem baseless. There’s still a lot of anti-LGBTQ violence in the USA, and trans folks especially have been targeted at a federal level. Wouldn’t blame 'em for wearing a plate or carrying a pack with a plate while they’re armed

Same. I’d love to see some bipartisan gun clubs or a bipartisan pro gun movement come out of this, but I feel like leftists are to scared on right wing gun nuts to let that happen.

Baseless? Are the constant oppressive bills sweeping the nations not a base? Is the targeted attacks from Mr “I Will Mandate Two Genders Only Cause That Means Freedom” not enough? I could go on and on but I ain’t seeing these fucking lies be posted to Lemmy without saying anything. There is precedent. If ya’ll wanna conserve anything it should start with your knowledge of history cause its piss poor. But you know that, deep down you know where this road goes and you want it. Just so you can finally feel superior.
