Visually, this anime is pretty hard to look at. So many stillframes, yet inconsistent and often pretty bad looking too imo. When there is animation, it’s often still quite static. Storywise, the manga does a better job, imo, at executing it.
I think I’ll drop this and just continue the manga.

Yeah, the animation can be wonky sometimes and they make extensive use of chibi sequences and cartoony backgrounds to simplify the artwork:

It reminds me of Level 99 Villainess in that way if I am honest. Though, it didn’t bother me as much in that case. I was a source reader for that show, but am an anime-only for this show.

Hm, I don’t think Level 99 Villainess was as bad as this one though.
