Meta has a suggestion for folks who forgot to go outside and look at the Northern Lights on Thursday night: just use AI to fake it! But Threads users who replied to Meta’s idea, posted along with three AI-generated images of the Aurora Borealis Meta last night, seem to disagree.
Could easily find out with a blinded rating test.
Do you think that the PSL is deliberately spoilering the democrats? Do you think that the democrats pose any threat to Goldman Sachs or whatever firm?
Starts with AI-generated borealis, ends with AI-generated pictures of food
To the person eating the fruit, maybe, but the person picking it from the tree knows
Between this and Google’s Olympics ad, maybe they should be asking AI how to not piss off their costumers lol

Meta-loves to spread misinformation, because political parties and advocacy groups will spend millions on advertising to counteract it.
