This season in retrospective and this episode in particular felt like a (very well-done) prologue to the actual story. My eyes and ears are blessed to witness this show.
If what the manga readers say are true, I’m concerned on how the pacing would be like going forward, to the point that I may not watch S2 onwards until the manga ends. Based on what I can almost call the curse of the Shounen Jump adaptations, it’s reasonable for me to assume that Akane-banashi’s story tone will shift in a not-preferable direction.
Last point: I don’t like cat eye glasses, but it fit very well with Iwashimizu-sensei.
