What do you mean by blue fire? IIRC the anime didn’t use blue for fire scenes.

I read the manga and I wonder if they will stick to it for the whole thing, it gets preeeeetty weird at the end

Yep, the manga is incredible. One of my favorite stories from all of manga. Though the anime has probably the best choreography of any anime I’ve seen. All around a very good series.
