    Funny how that is. Like accepting that it’s better to get sick today than in 1000 AD; but with the dual caveats that further improvement is still needed, and that it’s better to not get sick at all, lmao.

      It’s true. Even the world’s poorest are materially richer and better informed than people in their position in the past. Due to the advance of society’s demands it means they aren’t any better off though.
