Share any TCP network service (like a web server, game, etc.) with your contacts through Jami! It can also manage an embedded web server as needed to easily share simple websites or directories.
Looks AI. I tried to look at the source on their gitlab server but it just said “NO!”
Like literally, that’s what the page said. I’ll pass.
Jami is an old project, they have been around wayy before ai.
Mordikan@kbin.earth 2 hours ago Their build command references INSTALL.md which is directions for an LLM to install dependencies and setup the environment.
I don’t know where you saw this “No”, but all of their code has been up on their (self hosted) GitLab for years: git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux
Yeah, and I can see agent files in the daemon repo, so the project is configured for AI. But if I try checking the commit history I get a login page and if I try actually opening files I get the “NO!” on all subsequent pages. Go ahead, try it. Any project hiding their stuff like that makes me very distrustful.

Eventually they will get a security audit, right?
