  I know about the hot debate if avatar is anime or not, but this felt like it would be better appreciated here than my normal Shitposts or Memes places.

    Hopefully with the advent of excellent teen-adult focused animation from the west (especially on Netflix) people will accept that “anime” doesn’t mean “cool animation” but “Japanese animation” and the categories can remain clear. Regardless of that opinion, I think this meme belongs here just fine because there is a huge overlap between Anime fans and adult animation fans, and we don’t tend to have adult animation communities.

    That’s my take on the issue at least.
