Comment on Microsoft finally officially confirms it's killing Windows Control Panel sometime soon
jbk@discuss.tchncs.de 3 weeks agoI bet they at most remove control.exe or make it open the Settings app, but still allow launching old vendor .cpl items just like they already can be opened in Control Panel.

If only they had trained advanced users to use the CLI that would never change unlike the GUI
