I saw this and probably makes sense. She’s more rural where it Leans more red.
Some people think all of California is blue. It isn’t. There are more republicans in California than most states have population.

I don’t know her. So i don’t know what her views are. She said the party isn’t the same as it was twenty years ago. I didn’t read this article but I read another and she didn’t list what she disagreed with.

It would make sense to run as a republican in a republican dominated area.
I just don’t know her specific issues with the democrats.
