I actually quite like the simplistic UI, but this is actually a focus of the new TriliumNext organization - to improve the UI.

When giving your opinion, please avoid derogatory phrasing and instead specify what you don’t like and why. The key word there being “specify”. Otherwise, you don’t have a point, you’re just being a dick.
