Pretty sure you can personally defederate. That’s what I’ve been told, anyways.
I haven’t tried, since I’ve yet to find a community that offends me. I want to find an instance that refuses to defederate from anyone. I want to see ALL of Lemmy.

Admins are also people end not some soulless corporation. If you write a polite message asking for defederation and provide a reason why. They should take action.
They can’t have eyes everywhere so reporting stuff really helps.
