Bro really pinned it on the one court in Protestant Reformation Europe that didn't execute people for witchcraft like it was candy. Fun fact about this: The safest places on Europe to be from witchcraft persecution, aside from Orthodox areas where that nonsense never caught on, was Spain and Portugal. This is specifically because in those places the inquisition ran all witchcraft trials and did so with something resembling professional rigor. They also preferred encouraging repentance—the traditional sentence for witchcraft and heresy—over execution. All in all, while there's plenty of reason to shit on Catholic inquisitions, this ain't it.
