Same here - it’s constantly like, “Hey, remember those shoes you bought last week? Did you want to see 50 ads for the exact same pair?” Either that, or I get ads for stuff I would literally never buy that doesn’t make any sense based on all the data they almost certainly have on me. Like, a weird amount of meat and baby products. Also, a lot of ads in Spanish even though my Spanish is mediocre at best, so that’s nice for the practice, at least.

USA, Japanese or German made hand tools, quality cookware, knives, union-made boots, mid to high-end audio equipment… There are still lots of goods that will last you a lifetime.

Nothing footwear lasts a lifetime if you’re active enough. At best you get a Ship of Theseus situation. But they will last you longer.
