Fun fact: Akin apologized in the aftermath of those comments (while he was running for reëlection, of course). Then, two years later, decided it was worth publicly rescinding that apology.

Is the Republican party just entirely cunts? I read ‘re-election’ and made a bet with myself before I looked this guy up, that he would be an American Republican. And he was.
