I just googled it, and the top result was Facebook, and then Instagram. That’s correct, fucking go right ahead, I guess? Kick me off your platform. I already dominated both of them.

I doubt that would be even close to his response right now. He tried to do some level of that with Apple’s upgrades to privacy that allowed you to neuter apps basically. He thought he would get an exception because we are Facebook we will just pull out! What he got instead was a line in a investor call talking about how the changes in apple’s privacy and transparency rules took a bigger bite out of revenue than expected because it turns out when asked if you want to be tracked people almost always said no

Considering sideloading on iOS wasn’t a thing until 17.2, the comment is functionally the same.
