  Rhinestones aren’t really that sharp though (unless they’re the really nice glass ones which I’m assuming these are not). It’s also likely that these are plastic backed sheets, like these Rhinestone sheet

    The airbag deploys at 200 mph. At that speed the sharpness isn’t really the issue.
