Laticauda@lemmy.ca 10 months agoIt’s being pushed by someone who was a victim of deep fake porn, so I think they understand the issues at hand just fine, you don’t have to agree with them, but don’t be a patronizing asshole about it.

This is an actual law proceeding, with lawyers and adults involved. The teen is just the face of it.
